Lee piloting Calypso to St Marks December, 2021 Returning from summer cruising in coastal Maine, it’s time to get back on the restoration of our 1964 Pearson Ensign, Calypso . While we were away, Carson at Shields Marina was been steady at prepping, painting and addressing mysterious fiberglass blisters in the forward starboard quarter. Carson at Shield's - very attentive to details and fiberglass wizard. Teak floorboards were repaired and oiled prior to taking Calypso to St. Marks Now we’ve reinstalled the hardware we removed for painting, figuring out where all the pieces go, and resealing with Life Caulk. We’ve purchased new running lights and a Garhauer motor mount for our Torqeedo electric outboard.
